Local Authorities
Fletchers work proudly with Local Authorities up and down the UK to deliver essential services to their communities. This can range from fitting out council premises and social housing, schools and other educational facilities, waste processing facilities and more. We provide planned preventative and reactive maintenance services on a 24/365 basis, not only to local authorities but also to Emergency Services like police, fire and rescue, allowing first responders to prevent crime and in some cases, to save lives.
We take our work with Local Authorities and Emergency Services extremely seriously. Our numerous industry accreditations demonstrate our commitment to recognised standards, including British Standard BS EN 1090 and safety schemes like SafeContractor and CHAS. We deliver high levels of customer service and want our Local Authority clients to know they can trust us to deliver projects on time and on budget, as well as to provide emergency maintenance call-outs all year round, 24 hours a day. Together this makes Fletchers Engineering the clear first choice for any new fit-outs, refurbishments, bespoke steelworks and HVAC maintenance services for local councils anywhere in the UK.
- Proven track record and positive reputation working with Local Authorities nationwide
- Industry accreditations provide confidence of service levels and safety standards
- Expertise from design and fabrication through to installation and maintenance
Fletchers work on a wide range of projects, from installing new pipework or access platforms as a one-off order, through to long-term contracts to provide preventative and reactive maintenance services for Local Authorities' HVAC systems, hot and cold water pipes, gas heating and so on. We can work on very large fit-outs, consisting of hundreds of tons of custom-built steel structures. Our in-house expertise includes Gas Safe Registered engineers who can carry out work on mains gas supplies, and modern facilities for offsite fabrication of all kinds of steelworks and piping. We would recommend the use of thin wall stainless steel for Local Authorities, as it is lightweight and corrosion-resistant, as well as being easy to handle and quick to install on-site.
